Define Phase

Humber Galleries gave us a brief overview of their user requirements and goals. As a group, we conducted additional research into Humber Galleries to understand the business better and follow up with questions in a meeting with the client before conducting secondary research and ideating the content, features and task flow.

Develop Phase

My team and I sketched different concepts for the screens we needed to prototype. In this step, we gathered ideas from one another drawings to finalize the sketches before designing a low-fidelity prototype. Once we designed a lo-fi design, we conducted usability tests with 3 participants to gather feedback on improvement areas for the final design.

Deliver Phase

Prototyping a GPS that acts like a navigational map is hard stuff. Understanding the best flow for different user experiences in how someone may visit and view the gallery while using the application was a difficult task to execute in a way that felt natural.

The process was messy and fun. Having a list of the requirements and understanding the primary goals really helped to narrow the focus of what to focus on for the first launch of The Humber Galleries application.
